We all need a place to call home, a place to lay down our head and put up our feet, a place we can feel safe and secure…a place to roost.

In the New Testament, all four gospels tell us the story of Peter and his denial of Christ. The rooster’s crowing figures prominently in this story. It is a turning point, the moment where Peter realizes he has lost his bearings and can come back to his center. In his case, his “center” was the stability of his trust in Jesus, who had already promised never to forsake him. And even though things seemed uncertain in that moment, Peter could remember that promise and come back to it in the midst of uncertainty.

We all seem to do better coming back to center when we have a place we can feel secure. It's why Come Home to Roost was formed.

We live in a world of uncertainty. It is easy to feel lost and adrift, easy to misplace our sense of belonging and security. Can we be that safe space for you? Can we be a haven where you can Rest On Our Savior's Truth? Can we help you find a place where you can come home to roost?
